With the belief that all children have an innate curiosity to understand the world, Lowcountry Children's Co-op offers a blended enrichment curriculum focusing on the five key areas of development (cognitive, social-emotional, physical, adaptive behavior, and communication). Based on evidence-based research such as the importance of executive functioning on children’s social and emotional development (Vygotsky), our multi-sensory approach incorporates both project- and play-based learning (Reggio Emilia). We celebrate the importance of both indoor and outdoor learning environments (Nature Explore) that allow for self-discovery and collaborative interactions with peers and adults.

We are happy to announce that we will be using Tadpoles, a top-rated software program that will support our goal of frequent communication between parents and staff. Tadpoles will allow us to document your child’s achievements and provide detailed and individualized daily reports via email or an app on your smartphone.
