Toddlers (12-36 months)

This is a time is a time for exploration,  discovery, and  increased independence. We provide a variety of indoor and outdoor experiences that celebrate imagination and creativity. We encourage learning and self-expression through music, dance, art, and literature. Early literacy and numeracy will be introduced using play- and project-based learning activities. As part of our program, we provide experiences that are tailored to encourage your child's natural growth and development.

Examples of Key Areas of Development During Toddlerhood:

• Cognitive: matching pictures; finds hidden objects; builds block towers
• Communication: listens to stories; expresses wants/needs 
  
• Social-Emotional: transitions from parallel play to cooperative play
  
• Adaptive: puts on clothing; feeds self; turns pages of a book
  
• Motor: walks; rolls a ball; climbs; jumps
